About the special issue:

The key intention of this special issue is to provide an open platform for researchers, clinicians, and professionals across the globe to promote, share, and discuss various aspects of the application of Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry. Over the past decade, artificial intelligence has exhibited remarkable advancements across various industries, and the field of dentistry is no exception. This special issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research and transformative ideas that demonstrate the potential of AI technologies to reshape the landscape of oral healthcare.

Our vision for this special issue is twofold: Advancing Research: We encourage submissions of original research that explore the diverse applications of AI in dentistry. From image analysis and pattern recognition to predictive modeling and patient care optimization, we seek studies that unravel the full potential of AI-driven solutions in addressing the unique challenges faced by dental professionals.

Transforming Practice: Beyond theoretical research, we are keen to receive practical case studies and success stories showcasing real-world implementations of AI in dental practices. Whether it be enhancing diagnostics, treatment planning, or improving patient experiences, we seek to highlight innovations that drive tangible benefits and inspire the adoption of AI technologies within the dental community.
Scope of the special issue:

In this special issue, we invite researchers, clinicians, and professionals throughout the globe to submit original unpublished research works and review an article that explores the application of Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry at various length scales. The scope of the special issue includes under following thrust areas.

Possible topics for consideration include, but are not limited to:

• AI-enhanced imaging and radiography in dental diagnostics

• AI-driven robotics in dental surgery and prosthetics

• Natural language processing for improving patient communication and education• AI-powered personalized treatment plans and preventive care strategies

• AI-based virtual reality and augmented reality applications in dental training

• Ethical considerations and data privacy in AI-assisted dental practicesAs we look forward to assembling an exceptional collection of articles, our goal is not only to celebrate the progress achieved so far but also to foster collaboration and inspire future research avenues in this exciting interdisciplinary domain.
Manuscript Submission Information:

·        Manuscripts should be submitted online or via email.
·        Research articles, review articles, as well as short communications, are invited.
·        Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review.
