You can use a toothbrush to clean the tongue, but a scraper is ideal if you want the best possible hygiene. It will allow you to clean even the back of the tongue. You should use the scraper at least once per day.

Mint can be chewed to freshen the breath, or you can use a few leaves, soaking them in some boiling water for a couple of minutes.
